The process to Clone (duplicate) a Campaign is very simple, and allows organisations to use the potential and work already done in a previous campaign.
Rather than starting from scratch every time, you can clone past campaigns in order to reuse the content and settings.
❗️❗️ Please keep in mind that Campaigns created before 22/12/2021 can't be cloned, as this feature was not available yet. It is also not available for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Campaigns.
You can easily identify those Campaigns in your Dashboard, since they don't have a button to create a clone. For these cases, it is necessary to create a new Campaign from scratch.
How can I Clone (duplicate) a campaign?
To clone a campaign, you must:
1. Go to the Dashboard (Home) page
Before starting, ensure you are at your Dashboard (Home). To do that, click on the Stockcrowd or Dashboard item on the upper left side of your account menu.
2. Find the campaign you want to duplicate
Use the filters from your Campaigns list to find all your campaigns and choose the one you want to duplicate.
3. Click on the Clone button
4. Accept to clone the campaign
Done!
The system will directly take you to the general data page of the new campaign, which will have the name of your old campaign followed by + CLONE.
❗️After saving the changes in the cloned (duplicated) campaign, please keep in mind that it will be found within the pending campaigns until you change its status.

Exceptions - Features that are NOT cloned
When we clone a campaign, most of the settings will be copied from the original campaign to the cloned one (texts, images, etc.) except the following:
The data of the contributions received
The social media settings.
The messenger service settings.
