Redsys is a payment gateway that you arrange through your bank, and activating it in your StockCrowd campaigns takes four steps: requesting your TPV from your bank, making test payments, requesting your final keys and configuring them in production. Redsys has no fixed sign-up procedure, because it depends on the bank you arrange it with and the steps can differ from one case to another: Redsys will give you a guide with those steps, and here we also share some that you may find useful.

To be able to choose Redsys as your payment gateway, you need the multi-gateway payment option enabled: this is the feature that lets you offer several payment gateways in your campaigns. Not all plans include it within their fee:

The first step to activate Redsys is to request your TPV: the Redsys payment gateway has to be requested from your own bank, not from StockCrowd.

Bear in mind that if you already have a Redsys gateway in use outside StockCrowd, its keys cannot be used on different domains, so you will need to request a new TPV for your StockCrowd campaigns.

Before you collect real donations with Redsys, you need to make payments in a test environment. Broadly speaking, you will be given guidelines for those payments, along with keys to configure Redsys and test cards to make one successful payment and one failed payment.

Redsys testing is done in Sandbox, our test environment. If you do not have access to it, contact our Support team ([email protected]) so that they can set up an account for you. Once you are in, you will see that Sandbox looks exactly like the production environment and works in the same way.

To run your Redsys tests in Sandbox, create a campaign (a form, for example) and go to Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys. Enter the keys and details that Redsys has given you and save your changes:

The Redsys form asks you for the Merchand Code, the Merchand Signature, the Secure Payment Terminal, the Non-Secure Payment Terminal and the Bank Stament name, which is the name the donation will show under on the donor's bank statement. Once you have filled them in, click Save.

Make sure Redsys stays selected:

With the test keys saved, you now need to open your campaign and make the test payments. To do that, go to Content → Campaign templates → My campaign, in either of the two templates available:

Once you are in the campaign, make a donation using the card details that Redsys has given you: first the ones for the successful payment and then the ones for the failed payment.

Once you have made the test payments, contact your bank again to let them know and to request your final keys.

At this point they will check that the URL they asked you for at the start has Redsys up and running. So, before you ask them for the final keys, go to your campaign in production, enter the test keys and make sure you leave Redsys selected as a payment method.

That way they can check that Redsys is among the payment methods available to pay on that URL. If you skip this step, they are likely to refuse you access to the production keys.

Once you have your final keys, you can configure Redsys in production: go to your campaign in production and enter the keys in Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys.

If you want to activate Bizum as a payment method for your campaign, first check with your bank that this option is available with your TPV. Then, in Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys, tick the Allow payments with Bizum option.

That is it! Now that you have your Redsys TPV, you can use these keys in every campaign you create with StockCrowd.

Redsys inSite is a Redsys payment method that lets the whole payment process be completed inside your campaign's own page.

Without inSite, Redsys redirects the donor to an external bank page to enter their card details there, and when they have finished the donor has to click a button to come back to your campaign.

To activate the inSite payment method you need Redsys active and, on top of that, a plan that includes this option:

Activating Redsys inSite has two parts: a request you have to make directly to your bank, and a setting inside StockCrowd. You need to complete the request to your bank first, because if you activate the option in your campaign before your bank has registered the domain, inSite payments will not work.

For security and fraud prevention reasons, Redsys needs to know which domains payments will be processed from, and it is your bank (not the StockCrowd team) that registers those domains in your Virtual POS. Get in touch with your bank and ask them to enable inSite for your Virtual POS, telling them the domain (or domains) of the campaigns you need it for. Bear in mind that:

Once your bank confirms that it has added the domains, you can check this by going into your Redsys Virtual POS Administration Portal. There you will see the terminal you are using and, inside it, the list of Dominios inSite permitidos.

This section is read-only for you: it is your bank that adds or changes the domains on that list.

With the domain registered and confirmed by your bank, go to Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys in your campaign and tick the inSite option: "By activating this option, payment will be processed using RedSys' insite payment method".

This tick box tells StockCrowd that the payment should be processed with the inSite payment method instead of the standard redirect to the bank.

The inSite payment method does not behave the same way with regular donations as it does with Bizum:

The keys of a Redsys TPV cannot be used on different domains, so if you already have a Redsys gateway in use outside StockCrowd you will need to ask your bank for a new TPV for your StockCrowd campaigns.

You can receive regular card donations through Redsys, but you have to tell your bank when your TPV is generated.

You can activate Bizum by ticking the Allow payments with Bizum option in Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys. Before you tick it, check with your bank that this option is available with your TPV.

Yes: by activating the Redsys inSite payment method, the payment process is completed inside your campaign's own page, without the redirect to the bank page that Redsys does by default. You activate it by ticking the inSite option in Settings → Payment gateways → Redsys, but first your bank has to have registered your campaign domain as an inSite domain in your Virtual POS.

It is your bank that configures the inSite domains in your Redsys Virtual POS, not the StockCrowd team. Before you activate the inSite tick box in your campaign, you have to ask your bank to register the domain (or domains) you are going to collect donations from; if you activate the option in StockCrowd before your bank has configured it, the inSite flow will not work. Bear in mind that the exact process can vary from one bank to another, so always confirm the details with yours. You can check the domains already registered from your Virtual POS Administration Portal.

Regular donations work with inSite as long as you asked your bank for Redsys for regular donations on the same terminal where you are enabling inSite. Bizum, on the other hand, does not work with inSite: it still takes the donor to another screen to complete the payment. That does not leave you without measurement, because with Bizum the donor comes back to your campaign on their own when they finish, without having to click any button.

Before giving you the final keys, your bank checks that the URL it asked you for at the start has Redsys up and running, and for that the test keys have to be entered in the campaign in production with Redsys selected as a payment method. If you skip this step, they are likely to refuse you access to the production keys.

You do not need to repeat the process: once you have your Redsys TPV, you can use these keys in every campaign you create with StockCrowd.
