What you need to Know to Prepare Your Campaign

In order to be able to prepare your campaign properly, you are going to need to add different features in order for it to be aligned with your organisation.

In this case, our platform allows you to add a Header and Footer to your Campaigns in order for you to be able to tell a story related to your cause or project.

You can access it in Content > Header and Footer

Here is what you need to know about it:

Header

You can add your desired logo, image(s), and video(s) in your Form, Landing, E-Commerce, and Showcase Campaigns.

❗️ Within Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Campaigns it is only possible to add a logo and images

  • Add your Logo

You can upload your logo which should have a maximum height of 60 px.

If you have added your logo to your Register Data then this logo will be shown by default, however, can be overwritten by uploading a logo here.

  • Add your Image

You can upload one image or multiple ones, creating a slideshow by selecting an image from your files.

👉 It is recommended that you keep in mind the alignment of the main content in order for it not to disrupt the image.

  • Add your Cover Video

You can upload one video or multiple videos, these videos must be hosted on YouTube and can be added by entering the URL. They will play without any sound and automatically.

💡 For more information about adding YouTube videos to your campaign, please check our Knowledge Base article HERE

  • Recommendations and limitations

️Please keep in mind that if you choose to add a video as the background in the Header section of your Campaign, it may appear differently when viewed on desktop or mobile devices.

The video will be played automatically in the background for desktop devices. However, for mobile devices, the video will be displayed at the top of the website. When clicked, it will open in a pop-up.

Therefore, to ensure that your website appears as intended on mobile devices, we suggest previewing it on the mobile version as well.

When previewing a video, please keep in mind it might show an error at first, therefore we advise you to preview it by using the Share button, this way you will get a more accurate preview of your Campaign

👉 In case this doesn't meet your organisation's expectations, we suggest that in the Header menu, you add an image, this way the desktop view will be a video meanwhile the mobile version will display an image.

Footer

The Footer of a campaign appears at the end of the page and contains your organisation´s contact details and links to your legal documentation.

We can edit it under Content > Header and Footer > Footer., where you can:

  • Select whether or not you wish to show your contact information in the footer.

  • Select the colour of the footer.

By default, the contact information and logo shown in the header and footer will come from the information which was added when your organisation signed up to StockCrowd.

You can review this information by going to Content > Organisation info

When entering your Organisation's information, you will see the details that will be displayed in the Footer.

The website you add will be linked to your logo, therefore when visitors click your logo it will take them to the site you wish to redirect them to.

❗️ Please keep in mind that when adding your website, you will have to add "https://" so it can be valid.

In the footer, you will find the link to the Legal Notice and Cookies policy to edit these legal documents for all your campaigns follow the instructions here.
