The Preview shows your campaign exactly as your donors will see it. This article explains how to open the Preview of your campaign, what you can do in it (view the campaign with each template, download its HTML or open it in a new tab) and where to check your campaign's status.
How do I open the Preview of my campaign?
You can open the Preview of your campaign from three places:
From Dashboard → Home → Your campaigns: on your campaign's card, click the eye icon (when you hover over it, "Campaign templates" appears).
Inside the campaign: click the Preview button in the top bar. It is available in every section of the campaign (Content, Settings and/or Management).
From the campaign's side menu: Content → Campaign templates.
All three options take you to the same Preview:
What can I do in the Preview?
The Preview bar has these options:
Back: takes you back to the editor, to the section you were in when you opened the Preview.
Device selector: shows the campaign as it looks on a computer, a tablet or a mobile phone.
Change template: shows your campaign with another template (explained below).
Download: downloads your campaign's HTML (explained below).
Open in new tab: opens the preview outside the StockCrowd editor, with its own URL.
The campaign status indicator: Active, Pending or Ended.
❗️The URL that opens with "Open in new tab" is public and does not expire: anyone with the link can see the campaign, without logging in to StockCrowd, whether the campaign is active, pending or ended. Do not share this URL if the campaign contains information that nobody should see yet. The Preview inside the editor, on the other hand, can only be seen by someone logged in to StockCrowd.
Preview your campaign with another template
To see your campaign with another template, click Change template in the Preview.
A window opens with the templates available for your type of campaign and the list of features of each one.
Landing campaigns have two templates: Standard Landing and Standard Embedded Landing. The template you are previewing is shown as "Selected"; to see the other one, click Select.
Forms and shops have a single template, so the window only shows that one and there is no other to choose.
Changing the template in the Preview does not change the template of your published campaign: it only changes the template you see the campaign with in the Preview. The published template is chosen for each campaign URL, from My campaigns → URLs → Customise URL.
Download your campaign's HTML
Downloading the campaign's HTML is included in the Esencial, Profesional and Premium plans. To download it, click Download in the Preview.
The HTML downloaded is that of the template selected at that moment in the Preview (Standard or Embedded).

Where can I see my campaign's status?
The place to check and change the status of your campaigns is My campaigns. A campaign can have three statuses:
Active: the campaign is receiving donations.
Pending: the campaign is not receiving donations yet. It needs to be activated.
Ended: the campaign has finished and no longer receives donations.
Your campaign's status is also shown in the campaign's top bar, in every section, inside the Preview and on the campaign's card in Dashboard → Home → Your campaigns.

Activate your campaign from the top bar
If your campaign is Pending or Ended, the campaign's top bar also shows the Activate button. When you click it, the system takes you to My campaigns, where the activation flow for that campaign opens directly:
The steps to activate the campaign are the same as when you activate it from My campaigns: the Activate button is just a shortcut. Once the campaign is active, the Activate button disappears.

❓Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the eye icon to preview the campaign?
Inside the campaign, the eye icon has been replaced by the Preview button in the top bar. In Dashboard → Home → Your campaigns, each campaign's card still has the eye icon, which opens the Preview.
Where is the "My campaign" button in Campaign templates?
The "My campaign" button no longer exists. The Content → Campaign templates section now takes you straight to the Preview, where you can change the template and download the HTML.
Does changing the template in the Preview change my published campaign?
Changing the template in the Preview does not change your published campaign: it only changes the template you see in the Preview. The published template is changed in My campaigns → URLs → Customise URL.
Is the "Open in new tab" URL private?
The "Open in new tab" URL is not private: it is public and does not expire. Anyone with the link can see it, without logging in to StockCrowd, even if the campaign is pending.
Which plans let me download my campaign's HTML?
Downloading the campaign's HTML, from the Download button in the Preview, is included in the Esencial, Profesional and Premium plans.
Can I make a test donation from the Preview?
Test donations can be made both from the Preview in the editor and from the preview that opens with "Open in new tab".
How do I know if my campaign is active?
You can check the status of your campaigns in My campaigns. It is also shown in the campaign's top bar, in every section, inside the Preview and on the campaign's card in Dashboard → Home → Your campaigns. The status can be Active, Pending or Ended.
Why can't I see the Activate button?
The Activate button in the top bar only appears when the campaign is Pending or Ended. If your campaign is already active, the top bar shows the "Active" status and the Preview button.

Inside the campaign, the Preview button replaces the eye icon. The Preview has a new design, with the Change template, Download and Open in new tab options.
Content → Campaign templates no longer shows the template cards or the "My campaign" button: it takes you straight to the Preview.
The campaign status (Active, Pending or Ended) is now also shown in the campaign's top bar and, if the campaign is not active, the Activate button appears, a shortcut to activation in My campaigns.
