📌 This information is relevant to you if you use Stripe, especially if you process Direct Debits payments through this gateway 🙂

Stripe has significantly enhanced its API for non-card payment methods. Here's the information: their new Payment Intents API. And, as expected, at StockCrowd, we've ensured that this change is completely seamless for you.

What does this update mean for you?

Essentially, it makes payment processes more secure, efficient, and robust. Stripe's new API provides us with greater flexibility and new functionalities for managing non-card payments, resulting in a better experience for your donors and for you as an organization.

At StockCrowd, we've worked to ensure that this migration not only succeeds but also remains transparent and straightforward, with no disruptions to current charges.

What do you need to do?

Stripe will send you a message explaining how to complete the migration to their new API through the migration tool available in your Stripe account Dashboard.

The migration process consists of six steps:

At StockCrowd, we have completed steps 1, 3, and 5. You will need to complete steps 2.

While steps 4 and 6 are not mandatory, please note that you must complete step 2 for the migration to be successful.

If Stripe hasn't sent you any messages yet, don't worry; we've observed that they're gradually inviting their users to update to the new API.

If you have any questions, please contact our support team via chat or by emailing [email protected]. We're here to assist you and ensure that this change goes smoothly.
