Create your Ambassador Guide

In this article we will explain how to make content available to your donors so they can share it on their Social Networks.

❗️The Ambassador Guide is available for Landing, e-Commerce and Showcase campaigns only.

What is the Ambassador Guide?

In the Ambassador Guide section, you can make audiovisual content and texts available to your donors so that they can share them on their Social Networks or on their websites.

The Ambassador's Guide is a media-kit for your campaign, through which you can ensure that your donors share the materials that you make available to them, so that their publications on Social Networks or on their websites follow the branding and concept of your campaign.

Your donors will be able to access it by clicking on the speaker icon that will be displayed in the donation box when you configure the contents of the Ambassador's Guide.

Access the Ambassador's Guide

To set up the Ambassador Guide:

  1. Edit your campaign:

The Ambassador Guide editing panel is made up of two parts, to:

1) Edit the translations of the Ambassador Guide:

2) Edit the contents of the Ambassador Guide:

Translate the contents of the Ambassador Guide

By default, the system will allow you to edit the content in the language you have chosen in Campaign > Content > General data when creating your campaign:

To edit the contents of the Guide in another language, you can click on the corresponding language:

and you can choose to translate them into the following languages: Catalan, German, English, Basque, French, Galician, Italian, Portuguese and Chinese.

If you want to remove the translations of the content for a particular language, you can click on Reset Now:

❗️❗️By clicking on Restart now you will completely remove the translations of all content in the language you are restarting.

Edit the contents of the Ambassador Guide

The Ambassador Guide's content editing panel consists of seven tabs:

Each tab will allow you to edit different content as follows:

❗️❗️Keep in mind that the images that you will use for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram should follow size and weight requirements as suggested by each Social Network in the following guides:

1. Customise the Header

The header allows you to share information about your campaign with your donors and consists of a title, a description and a video.

You can use this section, for example, to send a message of help to your donors or simply to summarise the concept of the campaign.

! Feel free to be as much creative as you wish to make it as attractive as possible!

Once the title, description and URL of the video have been entered, click on save changes. At this point, the contents that you have entered in this section will be saved correctly.

Once your donors open the Ambassador Guide, clicking on the speaker icon,

the contents of the header you have saved will be displayed like this:

2. Customise Facebook.

In the Facebook tab you can upload the photos that you want to make available to your donors so they can share them on their Facebook accounts.

To upload the photos, click on explore:

and the system will allow you to select the image you want to upload in the Facebook section of the Ambassador Guide. While the example shows a single image, you can upload as many as you want.

Once selected, the image will appear in the corresponding section, in this case the Facebook section:

and it will be shown to your donors like this, so they can download it and share it on Facebook.

3. Customise Twitter.

In the Twitter tab you can upload the photos that you want to make available to your donors so they can share them on their Twitter accounts.

To upload the photos, click on explore:

and the system will allow you to select the image you want to upload in the Twitter section of the Ambassador Guide. While the example shows a single image, you can upload as many as you want.

Once selected, the image will appear in the corresponding section, in this case the Twitter section:

and it will be shown to your donors like this, so they can download it and share it on Twitter.

4. Customise Instagram.

In the Instagram tab you can upload the photos that you want to make available to your donors so they can share them on their Instagram accounts.

To upload the photos, click on explore:

and the system will allow you to select the image you want to upload in the Instagram section of the Ambassador Guide. While the example shows a single image, you can upload as many as you want.

Once selected, the image will appear in the corresponding section, in this case the Instagram section:

and it will be shown to your donors like this, so they can download it and share it on Instagram.

5. Customise Videos.

In the Videos tab you can enter the URLs of the videos that you want to make available to your donors so that they can share them on their social networks or on their websites.

To share a video, enter the URL and click add video:

Once the URL is entered, the video will appear in the corresponding section, in this case the Videos section:

and it will be shown to your donors like this, so that they can see it or share it on their Social Networks or on their websites by copying and pasting the URL.

6. Customise Photos.

In the Photos tab you can upload the photos that you want to make available to your donors so that they can share them, for example, by publishing them on the blog of their websites.

To upload the photos, click on examine:

and the system will allow you to select the image you want to upload in the Photos section of the Ambassador Guide. While the example shows a single image, you can upload as many as you want.

Once selected, the image will appear in the corresponding section, in this case the Photos section:

and it will be shown to your donors like this, so they can download it and share it in their webs.

7. Customise Texts.

In the Texts tab you can enter a text that you want to make available to your donors so they can use it in the dissemination activities of your campaign (blogs, press, etc..)

Enter the text in the description window and click on save changes so that the text is saved correctly,

and it will be shown to your donors like this:
