A Campaign cluster allows you to create a donation box with multiple options to select from.

It allows the donor to select the option that they wish and then start the donation flow.

Each of the options in the list is a different campaign so it allows you have multiple campaigns in one.

In addition, you can also add an external URL so that from the form you can send the donor to another campaign.

When should I use Clusters?

Clusters can be useful in the following situations:

  • For creating multi-currency campaigns

  • To emit certificates from different countries

  • To have different payment gateways depending on the donor´s country

  • To have different forms for individual and legal entities

  • So that different campaigns contribute cumulatively to a donation total.

How to create Clusters

To create a cluster login to the BackOffice and go to Company > Campaign Clusters.

Click on "New Cluster" in the top right-hand corner.

In the window add the Title and description of the cluster for your donors. The Cluster Name is an internal name.

To add campaigns to the cluster go to the "Edit Header" drop-down menu and select "Add campaign."

Select the campaign which you wish to add and then enter the text which will be the description of the option that appears in the donation box.

How to Deactivate a Cluster

It is possible to deactivate a cluster, this means that the donor will no longer see the multiple options but will see the donation box of just that particular campaign.

In order to deactivate a cluster, go to Company > Campaign Clusters > Edit Header > Edit Cluster and then unselect "This cluster is active."

Equally, you can delete the campaigns and then delete the campaign if you do not think you will need to reactivate it again in the future.

❗️Things to keep in mind:

  • Donations associated with campaigns in a cluster will contribute to a general progress bar/ total for the cluster.

  • A campaign can only be part of one campaign at a time.

  • In the case that you want to create the cluster only to have a cumulative total of the campaigns and not have various donation options, you should leave "The campaign will be visible in the campaign selector" unselected when you create the campaign.
