Is StockCrowd GDPR compliant?

StockCrowd has taken various steps to ensure that we are GDPR compliant.

These steps include are designed to ensure that the data we handle is:

  1. Treated in a lawful and transparent way for interested parties

  2. Collected with specific, explicitly legitimate purposes and are not subsequently processed in a manner incompatible with said processes.

  3. Relevant, adequate and limited for the purpose for which they are needed

  4. Accurate and up to date

  5. Maintained in a way that allows the identification of the interested parties for no longer than necessary.

  6. Treated in a way as to guarantee the adequate security of personal data.

Who owns the donor data?

The data of your donors belong to your organisation.

StockCrowd takes care of collecting and storing the data however we will never use them for commercial purposes. The data is yours and you can use it when you want, even if one day you decide to stop using the software you will have a few days to download the data of your donors and add them to your own systems.

Where are Stockcrowd's servers?

Our servers are in Germany in a data processing centre called Hetzner: https://www.hetzner.com

StockCrowd is a cloud-based software therefore we need servers with an infrastructure that assures that your pages and donations are secure.

Hetzner has the highest standards and levels of security. By using Hetzner servers, our database servers where the data of your donors and the associated transactions are stored are fully secure and allow StockCrowd to be compliant with European legislation with regards to the management and processing of data as our servers are within the European Union.
